The pieces offered at our sales may sometimes present defects in appearance or slight imperfections indicated on the selvage by "bells". These imperfections are visible on the pieces when they are displayed prior to the sale, and sometimes affect the cut heights, particularly when curtains or wall hangings are being made.
Their presence remains within the norms accepted by all weaving and garment-making professionals, and does not entitle the buyer to any return or reimbursement after the sale.
Sizing was carried out in factories using a measuring machine, which generates tension. In addition, differences in hygrometry have a significant effect on yardage. These two factors can lead to differences in measurements. Measurements are given as an indication only, and we accept no responsibility for any difference, however significant, when a new measurement is taken.
Buyer's fee: 28% incl. VAT, with a minimum collection per lot of €12 incl. VAT + 1.8% incl. VAT for all purchases on drouot.com.

Lots paid for during the sale may be collected from the auction room on the day of the sale until 6 pm and the following day from 8 am to 10 am.
Lots not collected will be returned to the Hôtel Drouot warehouse at the buyer's expense.
