Length of barrel: 20 cm, of carriage: 31 cm Provenance: Estate of Jean-Pierre Alaux, who inherited this object from his ancestors, notably Jean Alaux, dit le Romain (1786 - 1864), who is said to have obtained it from his friend Horace Vernet.
