Small bronze gun on a wooden carriage with metal barding and metal wheels. The barrel is decorated with a tower and bears a date: MDLXX. 19th century. Barrel length: 19 cm, carriage length: 25 cm Provenance: Estate of Jean-Pierre Alaux, who inherited this object from his ancestors, notably Jean Alaux, dit le Romain (1786 - 1864), who is said to have obtained it from his friend Horace Vernet.
