Albert MARQUET (1875-1947) - L'abside de Notre Dame de Paris (1913) - Oil on canvas signed lower left H 54 W 65 cm- Against the current, a steamer crosses in front of the Pointe de la Cité. To the left of the cathedral's chevet, bordered by the Rue du Cloître Notre-Dame bustling with passers-by and cars, we can make out the very young Eiffel Tower, only 24 years old at the time. A certificate of authenticity issued by the Wildenstein Plattner Institute (October 8, 2019, ref. 19.09.24/2594) will be given to the buyer.
