Reproduction of a Venetian key commemorating the 15th anniversary of the founding of Ersi - Esperti Riferme Serrature Italia -, no. 10/500. Translation of the booklet: In 1985, a group of experts with a passion for keys and locks founded an association which took the name Ersi (Esperti Riferme Serrature Italia). As a reminder of their commitment then, and to further stimulate their involvement today, we have reproduced a limited edition of this key, the original of which belongs to the collection of President Renato Maggioni. Milan October 1990. A harmoniously crafted wrought-iron Venetian key with a fleur-de-lys inserted in the ring and notches on the stem. Large keys were used on doors, smaller ones on furniture. This one operated the lock on a bahut, a wedding dowry where laundry and blankets were stored in a bedroom. The delicacy of its workmanship undoubtedly places it in a stately home. 13, 22 cm.
