Scene of prisoners Safavid Iran, late 17th century, in the style of Mu'in Musavvir Album page on cardboard with gold and polychrome decoration of a scene of prisoners. Two prisoners, their hands tied behind their backs, are presented by guards to a ruler on horseback in the presence of other soldiers, four of whom appear behind the rugged rocks in the background. The scene is framed by Persian verses inscribed in nasta'liq in black ink in cartouches and then by a gilded margin decorated with geometric latticework and plant motifs. Iranian stamp of export dated 1343 H / 1924 in the lower part of the composition. Framed under glass.
